Couple seeking friendly getaway
I stayed here for 2 nights before a wedding and it was like a breath of fresh air. The staff was genuinely friendly and really made me feel taken care of, especially John who made those breakfasts with such a smile.
Pricey but given the comfort and warm service, not too bad.

Charming building exterior, Landscaped gardens, Availability of tea and coffee in rooms
Outdated decor is truly an eyesore!!! Tiny bathrooms did not provide any comfort during my stay!!! Inconsistent cleanliness left me wondering about the thoroughness of their housekeeping!!!

The charming Victorian decor gave the hotel a delightful vintage feel, and the gardens were lovely for a leisurely stroll. Although it's a bit dated, the accessible layout was perfect for my mobility needs during our stay.
More accessible facilities for seniors would be appreciated.

I had a fab time discovering local culinary gems like The Dog and Bacon and Darchini, top-notch takeaways, mate! The room I stayed in was clean and comfy, and the staff were welcoming too.
While everything felt first class, the shower played hard to get with its temperamental flow, but it still sparkled nonetheless.

Charming visit with delightful gardens
I recently spent two nights at this cozy hotel and truly enjoyed the charming Victorian decor and lovely gardens, which provided a peaceful escape. The breakfast was particularly delightful, offering made-to-order options that set a great tone for the day. the room was somewhat dated and could use some refurbishment to enhance comfort.

The rooms feature a large rear garden, offering a surprising quiet retreat from nearby traffic. Easy access to parking means you can roll in with your ship without hassle.
The decor in the rooms feels like it's stuck in a time warp, giving off a tired vibe. Television reception is spotty. The breakfast arrangement is a bit off. They only provide a simple fry-up and no option for fresh-cooked orders, which was a letdown for the only two guests in the dining area. Lastly, the lack of a proper restaurant means your only food option is breakfast, so be prepared to seek dinner elsewhere.
